Week 8 Top 3 For Free!

Fantasy Tight End Rankings 2020

QBs

Derek Carr – The Raiders and Browns have this week’s highest scoring game. A lot of Darren Waller and big plays from Ruggs or Agholor. The Browns are giving up the 7th most fantasy points to QBs this season and Carr is in position to light it up. Carr has had at least 30 pass attempts every game this year and 239 yards or more in every contest. Lets go Derek Carr!

Russell Wilson – The Seahawks are going to bounce back this week and the front runner for MVP will shine. Over 300 yards and 3 TDs for Russ in this game. Expect to see him laser focused and providing the juice for this potent Seahawks offense like he always does, but especially after his 3 INT performance last week.

Tua Tagovailoa – Drink the Tua juice! Tua is getting his first start at home after a bye week. That is exactly what a rookie QB needs and he will put on a show. Tight window throws and dropping some dimes over his WRs shoulders. The Rams passing defense ranks 12th in the NFL right now but Tua will spark that Miami offense.

Big Risk Big Reward Play. Nick Foles. The Bears throw the ball almost every play. Their run game is non existent and Nagy has Chicago throwing the ball the 5th most of any offense. The Saints pass defense is middle of the road giving up 66% completions and 7.7 yards per attempt. The Bears will certainly need points in this game so throw Foles in there.

RBs

Kareem Hunt – Hunt will be a do it all guy for Cleveland this week against an average Raiders defense. Las Vegas is giving up the 3rd most points to fantasy RBs this season. They have allowed 12 rushing TDs which is the most in the NFL. Over 150 total yards and at least one score for Hunt in the shootout of the week.

Big Hen – What a monster he is. The Bengals do not want to tackle this guy and cannot tackle him. It will be a ground and pound day for Tennessee and Big Hen is licking his chops for this one. The Jacksonville game in Week 2 was the only game Henry has not scored in and might be the only one this season. Titan up and look for Big Hen to explode.

Jonathan Taylor – All over Jonathan Taylor this week. The Colts are coming off a bye week and will be fresh going to Detroit. The Lions are giving up the 4th most points to RBs this season but this game has JT written all over it. The Colts defense will stall the Lions offense and Indy will play with a lead throughout the game. Over 20 carries and 130 rushing yards for the Wisconsin rookie RB.

Big Risk Big Reward Play. Corey Clement. Clement has more juice than Boston Scott does and is the better runner. Scott is the starter and does make some good plays for Philly but I think Clement steals a redzone TD from him this week with a screen or a rushing TD.

WRs

Keenan Allen – Allen had a monster game last week against Jacksonville with 10 catches for 125 yards. Denver is giving up the 15th most points to WRs this season but they are 31st in points given up to RBs. The Chargers run game is already terrible so expect a ton of opportunities for Allen and a close game so the Chargers will need him big time.

Marquise Brown – Hollywood gets the Steelers this week Expect him to blow the top of once or twice against the Steelers secondary. The Steel Curtain defense is back but if there is a weakness, it is the back half. Hollywood eclipses 100 yards and has at least one score.

Cooper Kupp – Kuppy has been fairly quiet this season. However, every other week someone is catching multiple TDs from Goff and this time it will be Kupp. Miami plays a ton of man so I expect them to use Kupp and we should see the bromance back between Kupp and Goff.

Big Risk Big Reward Play. Darnell Mooney. Mooney has speed. He is a rookie WR for Chicago out of Tulane and he has probably already appeared on some fantasy owners radars. The Saints are giving up the 11th most points to WRs and I expect Mooney to beat them deep this week.

TEs

Darren Waller – I am taking the over in this game easy. Waller has been good all year but this game against Cleveland will be back and forth. Plenty of targets coming to Waller and a multiple score day for the Raiders top receiving threat.

Mike Gesicki – Mike Gesicki aka Tua’s favorite target. Drink the Tua juice this week and expect Gesicki to be his guy. Why wouldn’t a 6’6 Tight End be a rookie’s favorite player to throw to. The Dolphins need to create a mismatch against the Rams this week and Gesicki is the perfect guy to do so. Phins up and Gesicki up.

Jimmy Graham – Players always have extra juice going against their former teams. Graham gets the Saints this week so I expect him to have a fire lit underneath him. Graham has had a solid year and already caught a few redzone TDs. Expect Graham to continue being a Top 10 TE.

Big Risk Big Reward Play. Tyler Kroft. Kroft had 4 catches for 64 yards last week against the Jets. This week against the Patriots Josh Allen should look his way some more because he has a big frame and completed all 4 passes he threw to him last week. If you are desperate at TE, give Kroft a play.

Ks

Harrison Butker – I expect the Chiefs to play around with the Jets some this week and because of that, have to settle for a few field goals. Butker is always good money so sign me up for him to be a top kicker this week.

Wil Lutz – Willy Lutz travels to Chicago this week. The Saints will need him because they will move the ball at times but need to rely on his leg to get points. The Bears do not give up many TDs. They have only allowed 6 passing TDs which is the fewest in the NFL and 6 rushing TDs.

Jake Elliott – The Eagles are getting healthier and the Cowboys are getting more banged up. Dallas is surrendering the 5th most points to kickers thus far. Look for Elliott to have a big game in this divisional matchup.

Def/STs

Kansas City – Obviously anyone who plays the Jets has a bright spot but the Chiefs defense is rolling. They scored on a kick return and an interception return last week against Denver. They have not allowed more than 17 points in back to back games. Look for this trend to continue for a 3rd straight week.

Indianapolis – The Lions offense is very much one dimensional. Detroit is the 5th worse rushing attack in the NFL right now which bodes well for opposing defenses. Indy is coming off a bye week and should have Darius Leonard back and healthy.

Tennessee – Tennessee’s defense has not been good this season. They only have 7 sacks on the year and they are the worst 3rd down defense. What a chance for them to get some momentum going in those two departments with the Bengals atrocious offensive line. Expect 4 or more sacks for the Titans this week!
