Best Week 6 Fantasy Football Players by Position

Week 6 Top 3 For Free!

Kyler Murray– Welcome home Mr. Murray! Kyler gets a date against the emotional Cowboys this Monday night after losing their leader Dak Prescott. Well Kyler could have his emotions high too playing in his hometown. This should be a good one and look for the Cardinals QB to show out.

Matt Stafford– The Jaguars pass defense ranks toward the bottom of the NFL giving up 280 yards per game. The Lions continue to throw the ball more than they run it and Gardner Minshew should force the Lions to stay aggressive by putting up some points on the Lions defense. Look for Stafford to have a season best day against a poor Jaguars pass defense.

Patrick Mahomes– Can we really see the Chiefs losing two games in a row? The easiest way to get back on track is to just let the best QB in the NFL right now be himself and that is what Andy Reid and Eric Bieniemy will do. The Bills have a formidable defense but are giving up 263 yards per game through the air. They were also hit a few times by Tennessee for some nice chunk gains. Tyreek Hill and company will challenge the Bills secondary all night.

Big Risk Big Reward Play: Gardner Minshew. The Lions play a ton of man coverage and Minshew should already have your respect even if the Jaguars offense does not. The guy has so much spunk and always plays hard. Somewhat of a sneaky shootout brewing in this Lions Jaguars game.

Big Hen– The Texans defense is a bit banged up but more importantly, they just have not figured it out yet. The Texans are 31st against the run giving up a whopping 160 yards rushing per game. Big Hen had over 200 yards against the Texans the last time he faced them and he will be looking to repeat that performance.

Ezekiel Elliott– Expect the Cowboys to lean on their stud running back more with Andy Dalton now starting. The offense should not change much, however it has to be a part of the game plan to use Zeke more now with Dak out. Whether they get creative or just go straight at Arizona, Zeke will finish with at least 25 touches and 150 total yards.

David Montgomery– Carolina’s pass defense is much better than their run defense. Therefore, Chicago is going to have to go away from throwing the ball as much as they have been and rely on their second year back. Even if Chicago does continue to throw it often in this game, Carolina’s pass defense should force Nick Foles to check it down to Montgomery which is a win win for Montgomery fantasy owners. This is a bright spot for Montgomery to explode!

Big Risk Big Reward Play: Frank Gore. Yes, Frank! The former Miami Hurricane and Miami Dolphin faces his old team in South Florida. Also, there will be no Le’Veon Bell to share touches with. It may not be sexy, but maybe a solid 60 yards and a goaline score.

Kenny Golladay– Pairing Golladay with Stafford this week is a no brainer. The Jags have no one who can cover this guy. Golladay has been relatively quiet this season and this week is a prime spot for him to have a breakout game.

Devante Parker– Devante Parker has been living up to his 1st round pick expectations recently. He is the undoubted WR1 in Miami with a plus matchup this week against the Jets. Although the Dolphins are the better team on paper, this game will be closer than it might seem which will create more opportunities for him to abuse the Jets secondary.

Marquez Valdes-Scantling– MVS is Green Bay’s big play WR. The Buccaneers do struggle on the back end giving up big passes or 50/50 balls. With Davante Adams on track to play this week, I think the Bucs key in on Adams and forget about MVS.

Big Risk Big Reward Play: Keelan Cole. As mentioned before, the Lions play a ton of man and Cole might be the Jaguars best option to beat man coverage. Cole is a sleeper that normally has an eye catching game every 3 weeks so throw him in there this week if you see him in waivers.

Jonnu Smith– What a beast this guy is for the Titans. With the run game working like it will against the Texans, the play action pass game with work just as well. Big day coming for Jonnu!

Dalton Schultz– Schultzy has surprised some fantasy owners. Although the Cowboys are turning to Andy Dalton, Schultz is still a guy that can create mismatches and a new QB will not slow down his production. Keep faith in Schultz while Andy Dalton is under center.

Mark Andrews– Mr. Andrews is one of the best TE options in the NFL. Lamar Jackson should look for him often because the Eagles have struggled to cover TEs this season. Tyler Higbee and George Kittle put up huge numbers against them. Nice positive matchup for Andrews.

Big Risk Big Reward Play: Drew Sample. I predict at least one goaline score for Sample and it could be the reason you win this week!

Sam Sloman– Sloman is in a nice spot to have plenty of opportunities against the 49ers. One of two things will happen. First, the Rams will move the ball and stall in the redzone giving Sloman a bunch of chip shots. The other option is the Rams could blow the 49ers out and just let Sloman continue to add points to the board to secure the win.

Dustin Hopkins– This game is shaping up to be a defensive struggle. Points will be at a premium so Hopkins will be called on often.

Greg Zuerlein– The Cowboys will not hesitate to take 3 moving forward. Without Dak Prescott, Andy Dalton should still keep the Cowboys offense moving the ball but more drives will end in FG kicks now and not XP attempts.

Baltimore– No surprise that Baltimore’s defense is playing well this season. The Eagles offense is riddled with injuries everywhere. No shot the Eagles will be productive offensively this weekend.

LA Rams– Watch out SF. The Rams already have one of the best pass defenses in the NFL and the 49ers are already one dimensional. Look for LA to key on the run and suffocate the 49ers offense.

Washington– A few Daniel Jones turnovers, a few sacks given up by that below average Giants OL and Washington’s defense is looking like a good play this week.
